The Thousand Kites Team will be at the annual Creative Capital Artist's retreat in Massachusetts on July 24th, 2008.

In partnership with the National Radio Project/Making Contact, a special radio broadcast about the Thousand Kites project will air on stations across the country.

Thousand Kites will host a reading of original monologues written by women incarcerated at Wheelwright, Kentucky's Otter Creek Correctional Facility.
